Well said, Steve -- it seems like a lot of 'Christians' never actually read the New Testasment, or somehow missed the numerous parts that spoke against bigotry, fear, hatred, greed, etc. And by the way, what did Jesus say about gays and/or gay marriage? Nothing, absolutely nothing.

I wholeheartedly agree. We have nearly 25 million supposedly conservative American believing, or trying to believe, that big government is the source of most of our problems. They need to get it this their thick heads: It's not big government, it's big business.

It's great to support your local farmer, but don't believe your local farmer's market is entirely local, and don't believe that all, or even a majority, of the food is organic. Scams are plentiful in the 'farmer's market' setting, and by the way, 'organic' doesn't necessarily mean more nutritious.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I noticed in the preview that Rooster appears to smoking cigarettes - is that some kind of anachronism? I thought that cigarette smoking wasn't popular until about 1905, and even then it was only women that smoked them.
What kind of reception will Tiger get?

I'd like to see him heckled off the course; it would be good television, good poetic justice, and might just make professional golf less of a sissy 'sport'.
